Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

These terms govern your use of NetPacket (netpacket.fr), a browser-based network simulation platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NetPacket, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One person may not maintain multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: - Use the service for any illegal purpose - Attempt to bypass plan limits or rate limiting - Share account credentials with unauthorized users - Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the simulation engine - Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the platform's security

4. Plans & Billing

Free accounts are subject to usage limits (labs, simulation runs, members). Paid plans (Pro, Team, Enterprise) are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Intellectual Property

The NetPacket platform, simulation engine, and design are proprietary. Your lab content (topologies, configurations) remains your property. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the service.

6. Limitation of Liability

NetPacket is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any data loss, service interruption, or damages arising from the use of the platform. The simulation engine is designed for educational and planning purposes — it does not replace production network testing.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
